IM's June 9th Tuesday Memo becomes the topic of conversation on John Bazel's blog at the OpEdNews.com

Elliot's June 9th Tuesday memo entitled "A few observations about the state of things at IM and in the world" has some people really talking and thinking about the state of the world. Among those talking is the blogger John Bazel. He has been blogging on the OpEdNews.com website monthly since 2007. Below is just snippet of this two page article. "Just how difficult it will be to ever bring peace to the Middle East was made very clear to me today when I had an email exchange with Elliot Gershensen, President and CEO of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM), about President Obama’s recent speech in Egypt.

It’s not that he and I disagree, in fact, we share very similar views about Obama, Israel and Palestine. Among other things, Mr. Gershensen oversees a massive Meals-On-Wheels program and a new but fast growing annual interfaith dinner dialogue. After receiving IM’s weekly newsletter I sent him an email praising his insightful critique of Obama’s recent speech in Egypt and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. I also asked him if I could reprint it for the newspapers."

John Bazel is deeply involved in the peace movement and has a monthly talk show, "The No Hate Zone" on KPFT.
