Last month, new art pieces were unveiled at IM. The art pieces are the work of a joint project between the Boniuk Center at Rice and the Museum of Cultural Arts Houston (MOCAH) called Sacred Sites Quest.
The project brought together 24 very diverse high school students from 12 different schools who visited 11 religious sites and then capped everything by creating four pieces of art that captured their sense of the commonalities that all religions share.
IM was chosen as the host site because of the prominent role we play in interfaith work and our central location in Montrose. The four pieces are now mounted on the front of our building facing Montrose Blvd.

The murals these young artist designed and painted were top notch. Their work was officially displayed at a dedication ceremony with leaders of all three organizations in attendance.
