Registration now open for Thanksgiving Day Meals on Wheels Delivery

 

Preparation for the 23^rd annual Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving Delivery is underway and registration is now open for volunteers.

Last year, about 2,800 meals were hand-delivered to seniors Thanksgiving Day. Meals on Wheels clients are home-bound and the volunteer is often the only person the senior will see on the holiday. The generosity of volunteers sharing their Thanksgiving spirit can make all the difference.

Meals will be picked up at First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street, Houston, 77004, Thanksgiving morning beginning at 10am.  You should be able to finish up by early afternoon, before you sit down with your own family.
